Ok so I have a question for those of you who have been through this. I had my d/c on June 1. I had light spotting starting on July first and today my period kicked into gear. It started with cramps I have never felt before. It's almost constant. It moves from the front and around to the back. Normal painkillers don't phase it. Only the prescription ones will do. I was just wondering if this was normal. I have never normally had very bad cramps and they've never lasted this long. Laying down helps and it dies down to a dull roar, but doesn't really go away. When I'm up and about and moving, I almost can't concentrate. So I was just wondering if this was normal and whether it'll go die down next month or if maybe I should go to the drs. I definitely know I can't do this every month without something.

well its kindda like your first PP period after you have a baby-cramps everywhere and very heavy bleeding. after i lost my first baby it was really bad-nasty cramps and all. i would say tough it out this month and if it happens again next month go to your doc. but hopefully you will get pregnant soon so you don't have to go thru with AF!

sorry to hear you're in pain - I had really bad cramps on Friday but they only lasted 4 hours and finally went after some strong paracetemol. I was in agony at work - it was all round me - front and lower back. If they were severe I would pop to the Dr to check things out. I m/c at 9 weeks but didn't have a D/C as it was complete. Get yourself checked - it'll put your mind at ease. xx
