26-3-2010 - Dr. Appt

Well hello everyone! Things are going good here. Had my dr. appt today. Heartbeat was 158. It was pretty much a drive by like last time, but she told me I'll be doing the oh so exciting glucose test next appt. Not looking forward to it, but no avoiding it. I'm 25 weeks today. Time seems to be alternately flying by and taking forever! I've already outgrown some of my maternity clothes. Which seems ridiculous! lol. I even woke up the other morning to find my hips had just expanded over night! I put on a previously comfortable pair of maternity pants to discover they were tight! I was less than pleased. I'm more irritated by the thought that I might have to buy more pants than anything else, because I can already tell I'll be needing to buy more shirts lol. Ah well I suppose if my worse pregnancy complaint is spending money on clothes than things could be a lot worse. No stretch marks as of yet, although some days I feel like I must be making some. My Josie girl is doing quite well, and the majority of the time so am I. I hope you ladies are doing well. My best wishes for you.

Glad to hear your appt went well and things are going good! I loved buying maternity clothes because I felt like it was the only time I ever felt good about buying a bigger size! Besides, you look great and I'm sure everybody thinks so!! A pregnant woman is beautiful!! Hopefully your glucose test will go well. My 1st pregnancy I got very dizzy, the second I thought i was gonna throw up. Both times I passed the test though!! So don't worry if you get sick, it doesn't mean that you'll fail the test or have to take it again. Let me know how it goes and whether you get sick or not!
