13-7-2008 - Just because....

My mood while writing this blog:
thoughtful

Just because I am not preggo deoesn't mean the aches and pains go away. I thought I would feel so much better physically after. But thats because our bodies now have to get used to carrying a growing baby around in our arms, a carseat on our arm, diaper bags, portable swings, bouncy seats...etc...oh and BIG BOOBS that put added pressure on the back. BUT THEY ARE WORTH EVERY SINGLE ACHE AND PAIN!

Just because I used to sleep through a night doesn't mean I will get to do so again for maybe a year. I am okay with that. I enjoy sometimes those moments in the middle of the night when I hear Erin stir and I lean over the bassinet and pick her up and cuddle her into my breast to feed her. I do not get a straight 8 hours of sleep at night but I do get 8 hours regardless if it is broken up.

Just because I have had other children does not make me a pro, expert or know it all as each baby is so different. I still find myself confused as to what she needs. I have just recently discovered that Erin cries because she wants me to lay her down and walk away. She doesn't wanna be rocked or held...she wants to sleep all alone in her bassinet. I feel like wow all the fussy days anhd thats all she wanted! Dang! Life is so much easier knowing that.

Just because I have had babies before does not take away from the amazement. No matter how many times I look at Erin I never get tired of looking at her! She is so beautiful! So unique! So her!

Thanks for all those that have been here for me as I was preggo and after being a mom! I love you all!

Erin is blessed to have you dear, pro or otherwise. But I know just what you mean. I was talking to my Dr. about labor (and he is a great man!) but he just kind of said, "You are a veteran!" That did NOT help!!! LOL!!

We love you too!!! Nates the same way...."No BS Bedtime" I call it. He wants his bottle, his bath and PUT ME DOWN, Please. (weird, huh, he likes the bath after the bottle.

I feel the exact same way...And found the laying sam down thing to be true also. It makes me wonder how many nights pacing the floor with the other kids could have been avoided by simply laying them down.
You seem to have so many of the same thoughts that I have, I'm sure we would be the best of friends if we lived near each other.

It's amazing how different each of them are huh? Abram is the same way about being alone. He'll fuss because he wants to be put down in his bed so he can look at what he wants and fall asleep when he wants. I am so in love!
