22-8-2008 - Summer in Washington

MY HEAD HURTS, BUT HEY THATS LIFE
Current mood: pleased

Well this is how my summer is going...

First weather...
We have had about 4 days since the beginning of summer that have been over 80 degrees. For the past 2 days the rain has been POURING!! I have all these adorable summer clothes for Erin and I am forced to put on pants and long sleeves.

Second children...
Well we all know how thats going as the buggers are causing me to have a pounding headache most days. There were the weeks that Shawn went to his camps. Those were really nice and relaxing weeks. I truly am close to insanity! I am hoping to soon be able to say I am GOOD! School starts September 3rd.

Third being a mommy to a infant again....
I am getting the swing of having an infant again. I have a pretty good system down. She is eating baby food now so that adds more work. Its messy so I end up bathing her twice a day...oh well I love good smelling babys! She slept for the first time 10 hours last night. She has slept 6 hours a few times bu this was the forst time all the way through. I am so thrilled. I won't count on it again so I won't be disappointed if she doesn't do it again. She is still in the bassinet next to me at night. I know I have to get her crib delivered and set up soon. She is the length of the bassinet almost and I am sure it won't be long til she fully sits up on her own. She is sitting for short periods of time on her own. But then she falls over so i do not walk away from her when shes sitting. I adore this lovely child. She is such a joy. There are those times shes screaming that do get on my nerves though! But I do think thats just normal.

Okay as for this headache I better go take something...
