| 18-5-2009 - Isn't it odd? | My mood while writing this blog:Ok |
When I was pregnant with my son, we had almost everything set and ready THREE WHOLE MONTHS before he was born. I had a baby shower at 27 weeks, and had all clothes, blankets washed and put up. Bathroom stuff organized, toy bins ready, crib with beddings ready, playpen with bassinett set up, and everything you can think of was all set up.
Now, being pregant with my 2nd child and having only 24 days left till the scheduled c section, NOT one thing is ready! I am being told that it's totally normal. I gave my husband a HUGE "honey do list" last weekend. The crib was finally set up, but no mattress. He pulled all the baby stuff out of storage and I need to go through them and make sure they are clean and in a good condition. I want to to be a busy bee and get busy few hours a day to get things done. Not so easy when you have a huge belly and cannot bend down well, and having 21 month old son tugging or clinging on you every 5 minutes. There are few ladies in the same week as I am that already had their babies! That only puts more pressure on me to get things done. When do we get the "nesting" syndrome? I need it :-)
