14-5-2009 - There were three in the bed and the little one said...

My mood while writing this blog: ok

Don't have time to write a great deal today, but I just had to get this on screen before I start thinking I dreamt it. I just got back from my first appointment with my OB/GYN and when he was doing the little routine ultrasound to check heartbeats etc. he noticed a THIRD sac... sadly, the little one inside had stopped developing some time ago, but at some point I was pregnant with triplets! Not quite sure how to feel - a little sad that one didn't make it, a little relieved that I'm not in a super-mega-high-risk pregnancy, and a little sobered at the thought that three eggs could ever be released from my ovaries in a single month - it'll certainly make me think before trying again in the future! My life is very strange sometimes.
