27-3-2009 - A big no no!!! Is he crazy?!?!?

My mood while writing this blog: shocked

Okay, so ladies...I was in here aching on every part of my back. As I was cooking dinner, I was getting the braxton hicks AND I was hot in the kitchen (not a good combination). So, after I cooked dinner, me and my DH sat down and watched a movie and ate. After we ate, we were sitting there discussing everything that still needs to be done before my baby girl gets here. After that, I start telling him about all the pains I have been having all night. And then I said VERY CLEARLY, and I quote myself, "After this one, I dont want to get pregnant for at least another 3 years These pains are crazy." Ladies...Do you know what he said after I said that?!?!...I quote, "you might as well go ahead and get pregnant as soon as you have that one to go ahead and get it all over with."

STOP...THINK....OH HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!!!...

I love my DH so much, but I gave him the biggest cuss out there is! I told him, how about he carry the next baby since he is so eager to 'get it out of the way'. Its no way I am going to put myself through 18 months of pure hell just so he can 'get it out of the way'. Well, I know some people pregnancies aren't all that bad, so I know I am not speaking for every woman when I cussed him out. But, some of us have it BAD!!! I mean, the whole first trimester of morning sickness, second trimester it was okay, but, still, around that time I was kind of miserable because I was just trying to get adjusted to gaining crazy weight and trying to fit into my clothes (which I couldnt fit into a single pair of my jeans or anything) and now the third trimester is where the braxton hicks contractions kick in (for a lot of us) the back pains, the tiredness, the sore feet, the forgetfulness, the itching, the eagerness, feeling crammed with so much to do before the baby gets here...ALL OF THIS PLUS MORE!!!! I cannot handle that for 18mths because I was ready to get this one over as soon as I hit the third trimester...LADIES, IS MY DH INSANE OR WHAT???? I think he must have a mental block or something!!! Then, he had the nerve to laugh at me when I tried to explain to him, pregnancy isnt the worst thing in the world, but its not as easy what he make it out to be. I might just have to go on strike longer than 6 weeks after the baby, I am scared he may try to get me pregnant again!!! LOL. Thanks for listening everyone... and if your DH or BD tried this, please let me know that I am not alone! hahaha!!!
