03-11-2009 - 31 week appointment. okayMy mood while writing this blog:
okay

Baby boy is great measuring 34cm with a nice strong heartbeat!!! Head down and looking good! Looks like he will be here the 21-23rd of Dec via C-Section,due to my tilted pelvic bone and recently broken tail bone... Was looking forward to labor and that whole experience- but I guess its sorta cool I will know the exact date he will arrive. Got the Tax break I was hoping for. Just not the way I had hoped.... I'm hoping Im makin the right decision- Risk another tail bone break with months and months and months of pain- or meet my son a little earlier than expected with a couple months of pain to deal with.. I have time to decide.. Anyone experienced with csections? how is the recovery!?!?!?

I'm actually glad I'm having a C-section... . my labor was HORRIBLE and I'd never want to go through it again.... Just cut me open anyday!! :) Good luck!!

I had a c-section with my first baby, I had no choice though, this was a high risk pregnancy. My recovery was great though. The incision is not that bad, and pain goes away with the meds, you just have to be careful and not lift anything that weighs more than the baby does. This time around the doc wants to do another c-section, which i'm not too happy about. I wanted to experience the whole labor thing, but if it's what's best then I don't mind. It's still in discussion so we'll have to see what the outcome is.

For my last there was talk about c-section because she was breech (but she turned) I was kind of disapointed, but there are also good things about a c-section (and I don't believe what people say that you're taking the easy way out) but you know what day the baby's coming and no labour! :)

a lot of women opt for c section instead of pushing there must be benefits, i think avoiding the labor obviously...i guess there will be pain recovering, but i don't see how different it could be from pain from any other general surgery, which today is well managed with pain killers etc. Good luck :)

My recovery was not that bad - in fact I scheduled my c-section today for the 6th at 10 am.
