02-7-2008 - God I love my kids

My mood while writing this blog: very Proud

I know I have been using this site as a place to vent but today I wanted to share a moment that I had with my children yesterday that has me very pround of them. Since my husband left I have been juggling the kids from family member to family member friends house to friends houses during the day since I cant afford child care and all the bills and house etc.) so that I can go to work. Well yesterday I was very angry about the things that have been happening. Anyways, my father kept the children yesterday at my house during the day. When I came home, my children came up to me and explained that while I was at work they came up with a plan to have a car wash. They made signs and went door to door on our street asking neighbors if they could wash their car. A few of the neighbors agreed and my chidlren washed their cars. When I got home they came up to me as I was getting out of the car and explained how they spent their day and offer me the money they had earned so that I could have it to help pay the bills. I of course refused the money and gave them the biggest hug and kiss in the world. I was so proud that they made a plan and carried out this plan to help the family in this hard time. After dinner I took them to Baskins Robins for ice cream. I thought they deserved it after such a thouhgtful act. I am so pround of my children. They should not have the burden of family issues on their shoulders, but I was proud!

I started reading your other blogs since I read the one about that bastard how dare he. I've only been new to this website for the last week, so sorry this comment is getting to you late. I was crying when I read this blog. You are so lucky to have such wonderful beautiful, thoughtful children. I think your 3 angels is what is going to keep you strong through all of this. Again I am so sorry that this is happening you. In your condition sweetie, you dont need it.

awww that is adorable!! you're kids are soo sweet! i'm sorry they are having to go through this. it will make you and your kids so much closer. i went through something sorta the same when i was younger and now i'm a BIG time daddys girl!! just keep hangin in there!

that is the sweetest thing! i too have tears runnin down my face....you are a great mom w/ kids like that and even tho u n them r goin thru tough times it will only build more character and make u guys as a family stronger....
