27-8-2008 - 1st Dr appt

My mood while writing this blog: OK

I had my first Dr appt yesterday. The baby and sack measured the correct size. This is so what a relief because with my last pregnancy the sack measured smaller than the baby and that pregnancy ended in a m/c. I could see the heart beating. The heart rate was 112. The u/s tech said anything over the 90's for 5w6d is good. We could not hear the heartbeating yet. She said that that is normal. The Dr. did blood work and I am waiting for those results. I still dont have any signs of being pregnant yet. I guess I should be thankful, but I am still worried. I am tring to control the worrying as much as possible but it is hard. I will update after I hear from the Dr about my results. If everything is OK with the results I go back to the Dr in 4 weeks.

I'm so glad you got to see a perfectly sized baby! I can't wait for my 1st apt. and u/s. I'm not even sure if they are doing an u/s at my 1st apt. But thats 3 weeks from tomorrow! Can't wait to hear about the blood test results!

YEAH girl!! I am so happy for you. That is a wonderful sign that the baby is doing so well from last time. I wish you a happy & healthy pregnancy. Keep me posted. Congrats!!
