10-10-2008 - Ouch

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Well, I guess I will update since it has been a while. I went to the hospital on Tuesday because I was having pains in my lower back and lower belly. They had me pee in a cup, did a quick u/s just to check to see if the heart was still beating, (Which it was) and took some blood. The Dr came back and said he thinks I have kidney stones. She wanted me to go have a kidney u/s done the next day(Wednesday). So the next day I went had my kidney u/s done. The dr called me the next day, yesterday, and told me that I have several kidney stones in my right kidney. Because I am pregnant, they cant do the the laser surgery. I have to drink tons and tons of water. Dr wants me to pee once an hour and try to pass them myself. I can only take tylenol for pain. This suck and hurts :(

omg that totally sucks! I hope you pass them! I have helped the doctors with that laser surgery before so i understand why u cant get it done. Hang in there! Keep drinking!

I am so sorry you are in pain :(. Did they say how you got them? I don't know anything about kidney stones. They are gonna pass from your uretha? That sounds so painful! How big are they?
