05-6-2008 - Working Third Shift...

My mood while writing this blog: Sleepy

So, I work at a hospital and I work all shifts. Let me tell ya, this 3rd shift business is kicking my B-U-T-T! LOL! Before I was pregnant I could work 3rd no problem but now that this pregnancy has turned me into a lover of sleep, I find myself always lacking in the sleep department. So, I'm at work it's 11:03pm and I am on until 7:30am and I'm already yawning. Not to mention my kids just got of school today for summer vacation. They are pretty good though when I need to sleep. I'm very blessed. They will sit by me and read some books or watch a cartoon movie sometimes even take a nap with me. Such awesome kids!

On another note, I have my 2nd doctor's appointment on Tuesday,June 10th! He is going to do another ultrasound and we should get to hear the heartbeat. My hubby didn't get to go with me last time due to his work obligations, but he gets to go this time! I'm so excited to see how much our baby has grown.

Oh, and one more thing... I was also hospitalized with gallstones. I had a really bad attack. The doctor said that a lot of pregnant women get them. well hmpf.. who'd have thunk.. lol.. Let's just hope and pray I don't get anymore of those. I was in the hospital for 5 days, and I have to go back and have my gallbladder removed, which I'm sure won't be any fun either!
