Write a new blog

My mood while writing this blog: Fascinated |
Now I have been told that feeling your baby move for the first time
feels like a butterfly fluttering around inside. For me however, that
was not the case.
Poke, poke, went the baby for the first time (that
I could feel) on March 1st. I didn’t think very much of it and for the
next couple of days thought my stomach was rather rumbly. On March 5th,
I was sitting on the couch and felt a bump, bump, bump. I knew that
wasn’t my stomach and figured out what it was. Baby. I didn’t think of
butterflies though, the first picture to enter my mind was the old film
clips of the Loch Ness Monster coming up out of the water and then
going back down.
Loch (if a boy), Nessie (if a girl), is what we
have deemed this little one. Keith’s sister thinks Nessie is a much
better nickname then her’s was, Geronimo :)
I have been enjoying the bump, bumps.
On March 11th, Keith got to feel the baby for the first time. The baby was really kicking good.
What
I think is totally awesome is that you’re not supposed to feel the baby
until around 20 weeks for your first one and I wasn’t even seventeen
weeks yet when I first felt him/her move.
Yesterday, March 17th, we could actually see the baby moving just by watching my tummy. That is so very cool.
If what I am told is true I am in for a very active little one. Bring it on Baby :)
