21-10-2009 - Hopefully He Comes Soon...

So I went for my 39 week appt yesterday and baby officially weighs 10lbs. Oh no!! My daughter was big but I have no signs of gestational diabetes. They keep warning me of shoulder dystocia which frightens me so while they won't recommend a c-section because I pushed my daughter out at 9lbs 12oz, they did offer. She didn't have any problems but I did lose a lot of blood cause my uterus was in shock. So she basically wants me to go into labor soon and has ordered castor oil. I bought it and am afraid of the taste cause I know I have a terrible gag reflex but I took it for my daughter because she was a week over due. I'll take my concoction tonight and keep you updated. Hopefully the contractions will start up and lil Dre will be here shortly. I really wanna see how he looks. Wish me luck and send me prayers :-)

hi there! I know I haven't gone on this website for sooo long! so busy w/ the baby and going back to work! Love my baby so much! looks like you're due anytime now! Now you probably wont be able to update your site either coz you'll be busy after birth! anyway, good luck!

Hi, I dont know how much better this will be but our midwife suggested taking castor oil mixed with orange juice? Maybe this will take the sting out of the taste for you?Good luck. I hope you have a safe delivery very soon. xxx

Wow, I can't believe with him being 10lbs that they're letting him stay in there and get even bigger! Wow! Here's hoping that he makes his big debut ASAP!

WOW lady 10lbs...thats what I am dreading a big baby especially since this is my first. I hope all goes well with you and lil man comes soon for you.
