hey all. i have a 3cm fibroid on my placenta! the sonographer and doctor say its common and that it wont effect my pregnancy but this still worries me. they dont seem to think it will grow any bigger either and said it could also be a uterine contraction and said they would keep an eye on it. thing is my next scan is not until 4th jan 2010!!! i cant believe i have to wait til then! :-( how will i know if it has grown? has anyone else had 1 before?? ive googled it and they dont seem to be a problem or even dangerous but it still concerns me.

My mother has fibroids the size of a grapefruit in her! i'm not sure how she functions cus that seems way too big. She carried my baby brother the whole nine months with no complication from it so i'm sure you will be ok as well. :D
