16-12-2009 - swine flu jabs

My mood while writing this blog:
ok

well i have my swine flu jabs 2moro! im still a bit unsure of them but i would rather have that than put my baby at risk if i were to catch the swine flu. has anyone else had them? if so were there any side effects?? i really hope i will be ok as i worry at everything for my babys sake.

I had my swine flu jab yesterday. 7 hours later my arm was really sore and a bit swollen. That was the only side effect. You should have it done. If you catch swine flu your unborn baby will catch it too and will be highly dangerous.

Not sure what jabs are but I had the shot done and everything was ok. I know out here in Cali they keep you in the doc's office for an extra 15-20 minutes afterwords to make sure things are ok. Like you though I was hesitant but I choose to just in case I got it only cause being pregnant your susceptible to anything really. Good luck!

I chose not to have the jab (not sure whether i made the right choice or not). But now that i have finished work i don't tend to come into a situation where i am around crowds of people (we just moved house so am spending all my time getting stuff unpacked and ready for when our lil bugger arrives) x

hey i was the same way.. i was scared to get the shot ..But the day that i got the shot i asked her the Question and then she was about to do the shot and i backed away because i needed a couple mins..But i got it..sore arm.runny nose and thats it for the side affect..
