I just want to share our story with my fellow IAP moms: My doctor let us choose whether we wanted a c-section or another VBAC and we chose a planned c-section just because my first VBAC was awful with a lot of tearing. I have to tell you how thankful we when the doctors went to remove little Joshua the cord was wrapped around his neck two times. The nurse said there was NO WAY he could have safely been delivered vaginally. So just confirmation that we had made the right choice. At 40 yrs. old, I now have my little surprise miracle baby. Joshua Andrew, born February 12, 2009 at 10:07 am; 7lbs, 4oz., 20 1/2 inches long. Healthy as can be! We are just celebrating!!
