| 14-6-2008 - Sense of Completion | My mood while writing this blog:I\'m done |
c-section. I hoped that I wouldn't have to have one but, as long as it means that they will arrive safely, I'm alright with it. I feel that I am "done" with the pregnancy. I feel like I've done my part...if that makes sense.
The babies were measured on 6/6 and they found that baby a was 7lbs 8 oz and baby b was 5lbs 14 oz. However, since baby b was bunched into a little ball, it was hard to measure him. Thus, the tech doing the measurement said that he was sure the baby was probably bigger than that! No wonder I'm so huge! Thankfully, their practicing their fetal breathing just fine and the fluid in their sacs is fine. I'm having no contractions just the occasional Braxton-Hicks. It's funny, because I really, really thought that they would be born early. Most of the literature I read regarding twins pointed to prematurity. I kind of wish that I did just for my comfort (I know it's bad) but certainly, I am extremely grateful that they didn't because the best place for them to grow is in the womb. At least I don't have to wait until I go into labor. Monday is "The Day".
