Is anyone else having horrible sciatic nerve pain? Mine is pretty much unbearable i've tried everything,warm baths,heating pads,cold compresess,biofreeze. nothing seems to relieve it! I don't know what to do anymore. I know if I call my doctor it will be a waste because he is just going to suggest what I have already done or Tylenol and Tylenol doesnt work either. I tried it once and it did nothing for the nerve pain. I can't afford to go to a chiropractor right now because it being the holidays and having to buy baby stuff plus bills. I just want too ball my eyes out the pain is so bad. Please if anyone knows what else I can do let me know! thanks!!

where is the pain located? sharp? dull? aching? or can you give it a description word? has it been changing at all? anything you are doing that makes it feel better? worse?
and are you wearing a maternity belt? or thought about massage therapy.

Hey I had really bad sciatic nerve pain all of a sudden, a week before I had my daughter. It was horrible, I almost couldn't walk I actually wrote about it in one of my blogs.....mine didn't really go away until after I had her, and even then I still get that pain. Pregnancy messes with your body. All I can suggest is the heating pad....I feel your pain....Good Luck with everything!!!! :)

Never heard of it. So Im guessing Ive never felt it. Sorry your in pain. If its not one thing its another...right?!

Mine was so bad that I could barely walk! I did talk to my dtr and he suggested some exercises that I do and some stretching. Some times the pain can send you into to labor so it might be best to talk to you dtr or on call nurse and ask for suggestions. It is a common pregnancy symptom though. Mine now has moved to the front on both legs (hip and pubic bone) like I've been doing a million squats...it's horrible!
