19-9-2008 - 31 Weeks

My mood while writing this blog: bored

well, we're getting close!! i spent a couple days in the hosptial being monitored this week due to a thinning cervix and am now home on bedrest. i have a follow up visit on tuesday and it sounds like i will either be left on bedrest for a few more weeks or for the remainder of the pregnancy- hopefully the former! it's a bit boring and frusterating (especially since i want to nest so badly), but we will do whatever it takes to make sure this boy stays inside long enough to come into the world healthy! ron is awesome and is doing a wondeful job of picking up the things i cannot do.

baby and i are doing great though!! he was 3lbs 9oz when they did measurements on monday and is a serious wiggle worm- we had a difficult time doing my monitoring each day because he moved so much we could barely keep his heartbeat within the monitor lol. i have only gained 3lbs so far because of everything i lost at the beginning, which is probably good considering i now can't do much activity and still need to eat lol.

if we deliver at 38 weeks like brenna, that means he should be making his debut in 7 weeks and i cannot wait to meet this active little guy. we are seriously working on trying to find a name, i promise, we are just not very decisive i guess. i promise he will be named before he is born though, or at least before we have to sign the birth certificate!
