anxious

well we had our follow up visit and another ultrasound today. unfortunately my cervix has thinned even more. here is the progession so far...

21 weeks - 3.7

23 weeks - 3.3

30 weeks - 2.1

31 weeks - 1.6

i thinned out by .4 in 8 days, which is bad news bears. my doc said she would like to admit me to the hospital, but is giving me another week at home since i have a 2yr old to manage. it sounds like if it decreases this much again next week, i will be admitted to the hospital until i am 36 weeks or so. it will make things BEYOND difficult for us since hubby works nights and we really have no family or friends that are retired, but i guess we will find a way to make it work. we always do.

so i'm bored OUT OF MY MIND and also more nervous than ever that i am going to deliver early. i don't want to deliver early and have to leave the hospital without my baby in my arms. not that i wouldn't be more than grateful to even have my baby alive, but i really want to avoid a stay in NICU or a special care nursery.

baby boy (still unnamed- but not for lack of trying) is doing wonderfully though. heart rate is good and he moved like crazy.

well, off to take my lovely procardia, will update again next week.

Wow, did you have problems like this with your 2 year old like preterm labour? As long as the baby is doing well that is all tha matters I guess although I can see why you wouldn't want to deliver early. The longer your little guy stays in there the better! Good luck!
