02-7-2009 - Already 4 months old....we are so blessed...new pictures!

My mood while writing this blog: happiest mommy

I haven't wrote on here in such a long time.

Words cannot express how much my little man means to me. My husband and I are at the happiest point in our lives. Brody is growing like a weed, and learning new things each day. As of right now his new "favorite thing" are his feet. He will sit there/lay there and grab both of his feet with his hands and hold on to them for so long. He will chew on anything that comes close to his mouth including toys, his fingers and most recently his toes. Yes, the boy pulls his feet all the way up to his mouth. It's the cutiest little thing ever! He turned over from back to belly last night for the first time! The hubby and I were so excited...our little man is growing right before our eyes!

Brody LOVES TO SMILE. ALL the time. I can just look at him and he smiles at me. I have never seen a baby as happy as him. It's all the time. He doesn't cry unless he is hungry...and almost every time I will have his bottle ready before he gets hungry...so he hardly ever crys!

I will wake him up usually around 6:30 in the mornings while I am getting ready for work. He will have his bottle then he will watch me get ready. He sits there in his chair and checks out everything I do. It's the sweetest thing. He will "talk" on and on, smile and admires my every move.

He loves his babysitter. Her name is Ann and she keeps 5 other children as well. We met her through our church and couldn't be more pleased with her. She has been keeping children for 26 years out of her house. I am so thankful that we were blessed to have her. Brody loves watching the children play. They will come up to him and play with his toes and talk to him. He just smiles at them, so sweet!

Brody will sleep through the night. We will feed him around 10:00- 10:30PM and on the weekends he will sleep until around 8:00AM!! It's great! I am so thankful that we do not work on the weekends and are able to spend quality time with him!

Life is great. God is great. It's amazing how a sperm and egg make the greatest miracle ever. I spend so much time looking at his little toes, fingers, nose, eyes, hair, ears.....just HIM....and I thank God so much for giving him to us. It's amazing. Life is such an amazing journey and I'm so thankful for my family, friends and little boy.

I love this site. It's awesome to see other women, babies and stories. The greatest story ever told is life. This website is so full of amazing stories. Good look to all TTC, congrats to all the new mommies, and best wishes to the soon to be mommies.

I heard my pastor once say......."The closest thing to heaven is a baby." I never understood him until now. I get that little "feeling" just knowing that I have Brody. He is all mine. He has my husband in him and myself in him. It's so great.
