01-7-2009 - Midwife Check up Today

Had a check up today and was told that babies head is down. Its heartbeat was fine and it was measuring fine. Nothing out of the ordinary and they expect me to go to my due date even though i had a false labour last wednesday. SO......bit of a boring update especially as im so impatient to meet my baby, and find out if its a little boy or little girl, but guess he/she will come when they're ready:-)

Hope you are all doing well. These last few weeks can really drag on.... Good luck to all those that go into labour and look forward to hearing all your stories xxxxx

I'm glad everything is going well, but it's a shame it was just a false labour! The last few weeks do drag on and all you want is your baby out, but try to do some couple things, like go out to dinner or to the movies, or just relax and sleep through the day. Everyone told me to do that, but I didn't listen and I couldn't just sit still, but once Sarah was born I was wishing I had've listened! There's so much you can't do anymore with a newborn... All the best, keep us informed of any impending labour....
