17-7-2008 - PCOS Please Help!

Hello All...

My cousin-in-law actually introduced me to this website...She's right, its fabulous! My husband and I have been married for 2 years and together for 10 this February. Yep thats right Middle school sweethearts. We have both wanted kids since we were married but thought we should probably finish college first. Andrew graduates in May and I won't be done for another two years.....changing requirements for my major set me back, but Im not letting that stop us. The itch really started when my sister in law had her son Cameron who is now 11/2 and so adorable. I love being around him. Most of all I love being an aunt but now ready to be a mommy. I am concerned about one thing though. My mom has polycistic ovaries and it took her 8 years to have myself and my sister. She also had 3 miscarriages and 2 tubal pregnancies through out those years. I have some of the symptoms but don't have the cysts on the ovaries like she had. My OBGYN has always told met hat everything looked good so I'm hoping we don't have any problems.

Has anyone else expierenced this and what was your outcome.
