Hi all, hope everyone is going great!

I have a question about my baby shower, im throwing myself one cause no one really offered to do one for me and for some reason i wanted to be selfish and do it myself, my first baby and i wanted to organise it etc. So anyways i would like to give my guests a thankyou present as they leave, just a token of my appreciation for them turning up on my special day and celebrating the bub and me. I have found the perfect little gifts they are a single rocking horse on a keyring, you can get them in baby blue and baby pink, they are so cute and they come in a clear box with ribbon and a thankyou card and only $2.50 per item.. So anyways it will end up costing me over $100(australian) for all my guests and i know thats a lot of money seeing as im putting food and everything on, already spent $120 on invites and decorations etc. Anyways sorry ill get to the point, they only come in baby blue and baby pink and im not finding out the sex of the baby so i would have prefered if they were in a neutral or yellow colour or something but they arent so the question is do you think it will be odd giving out a mixture of pink and blue ones to all my guests?? real simple question that took me so long to get to lol but some advice would be greatly appreciated. I have attached the pics of the gifts, arent they cute??? so what do you think, would it be odd?? thankyou xox

hun i think it would be odd if you knew what youre having but u dont! they are sooooooo adorable! the people you are inviting are soooooo lucky because mine arent getting any thank you gifts! lol. What im planning on doing is mailing everyone thank you post cards after the baby shower. mine arent as lucky as yours lol. well anyway, theyre ADORABLE

I think that's a lovely idea about the presents. And I don't think the fact that one is pink and one is blue matters, in fact it adds a nice little touch to it! xx

it's incredibly cute, totally appropriate and well thought of, it will be a reminder of your day and you can play games such as guess the baby's sex or names suggestions for boy and girl, enjoy yourself, i wish i was there! X

i dont think it would be odd at all. you dont know what your having it makes perfect sense to mix them instead of get one or the other. and i think they are really adorable! sorry to hear you have to run ou shower yourself. thats not very fun or nice. atleast everything will be done that you want! good luck and hope you have a fun time!
