| 09-5-2013 - BFP! |  My mood while writing this blog:nervous |
I haven't really been actively TTC for a few months now as I got to such a low point that I just needed a break. It was so nice to not worry and be prepared to move on with life. I was very content and happy for the first time in years. I was still charting the last 5 days of each cycle so that I'd know when AF would hit, but wasn't really keeping track other than that. Anyway, last night it occured to me that I was about 3 days late, which pretty much doesn't happen, and impulsively bought a test. I was expecting to get an immediate negative and was shocked to get a bfp instead. I just stared at that stick for 5 minutes trying to process it before calling dh upstairs and showing him the test. He was elated. I'm still really nervous. REALLY nervous. I don't think I'll trust it until we reach the second trimester. I really hope we get a baby from this pregnancy and not another mc.
