09-7-2008 - CASTOR OIL DO THIS MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE !

My mood while writing this blog:
UNSURE

sO AS YOU KNOW IM DECIDING ON WHETHER TO TKE CASTOR OIL IN MY 38 WEEK PREG! iM TRYIN TO READ LOTS OF PEOPLES VIEWS ALL OVER THE INTERNET! tO MAKE MY DECISSION! IM NOT BEEN SELFISH SO DONT SAY THAT, IM JUST THINKIN RIGHT YOUR BABY IS FULL TERM AT 38 WKS WHY DO WE HAVE TO WAIT TILL 40 WKS PLUS TO HAVE OUR BABY!!

IM TOLD MY BABY HAS A DILATED KIDNEY, BUT SAID NOTHIN TO WORRY ABOUT! AS JUST CUD B BABY HAS NOT MADE UNRINE YET INSIDE! tHAT WAS 4 OR SO WEEKS AGO THEY TOLD ME! aND GAVE ME NO FURTHER SCANS WHICH TO ME IS ANNOYIN!

I WAS THINKIN OF TAKING THE OIL ON 22ND OF JULY! AS I HAVE A MATERNITY BLOODS APP THE NEXT DAY 23RD! iF NOTHING HAPPENS WITH OIL TO ASK AT APP THERE VIEW ON IT AND DEMAND A SCAN AS I WANNA SEE IS MY BABY KIDNEY IS OK SINCE HAS SHE MADE URINE YET!

I HAVE TAKEN 1 TABLE SPOON OF THE OIL LAST NITE, BECAUSE IM TRUELLY CONSTIPATED AND SORE FROM IT! IM ALSO ON LAXOSE MED A SLOW WORKING BOWEL MOVER! SO AFTER I TAKIN THE OIL 1 HOUR LATER I HAD A NORMAL SMALL BOWEL MOVEMENT! ITS BEEN 13 HOURS SINCE I TOOK 1 SPOON OF OIL! SO EVERYTHING OK AS I DID NOT WANNA GO INTO LABOUR JUS TO MOVE THE BOWEL!

SO ON 22ND I WAS THINKIN TKIN THE 4 TABLESPOONS! SO IM STILL VERY UNDECIDED!! I LOVE MY BABY! AND WANT MY BABY TO BE HEALTHY! I HAVE READ 1 OR 2 COMMENTS ABOUT WOMEN HAVING STILL BIRTH BABY DYIN OVER TAKIN OIL I SERIOUSLY DONT WANT THAT TO HAPPEN!! I WOULD DIE MYSELF! I JUST WANNA KNOW REAL FACTS PROFESSIONAL ABOUT THE OIL AS IM ALWAYS CONSTIPATED ANYWAY!

SO THINKIN BY BEEN TKIN PRIMROSE OIL SINCE 34 WKS AND STARTED RASPBERRY LEAF TEA RECENTLY AND DRINKIN 2 LITRES OF WATER A DAY! SO WONT BE HYRATED FOR IF I DO TKE THE CASTOR OIL! WILL THIS BE WELL PREPARED FOR OIL! AND BABY WONT MAKE A POO IN THE FLUID WILL THIS PREVENT IT FROM HAPPENING! ANY1 KNOW PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

Hello, I had a friend take it and nothing negitive happened. All she did was have to poo but no labor was brought on by it either! But I just wanted to let you know that her baby was healthy as can be once she decided to come!

hey, i found this site last night, i thought youd like to have a look, http://www.gentlebirth.org/archives/coMec.html its about castor oil in pregnancy, and all these midwives are saying that it isnt dangerous at all.... i dont know what to think about it, there are people who swear that its the worst thing on earth, and there are those who say there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. im going to talking to my doctor today about it actually.
ive never tried it before, theres a lady on this site called UKMama, who has used it and loves it, if you find her, she couls maybe give you some advice? good luck anyway

I think that you should let nature take it's natural course...God has it perfect...dont tempt it! I have heard too many horror stories of still births and brain problems with castol oil. I mean it is ultimatly your call...but I would just stay pregnant and "let the little one cook til he is ready"
