20-7-2008 - CASTOR OIL, CONTRACTIONS, NOTHING!

My mood while writing this blog: UNSURE

sO im in my 38 weeks and 1 day! and last nite i took 2 spoons and half of castor oil, it rotten, stuck to cup and spoon etc! so donno how much i got in me! any way b4 this i had a normal poo, At 11pm i took 2 spoons and half, at 1pm i had a normal poo, I drank about 6 cups of water or 7 in this time! so from time i went to bed 2am I was awoke every hour to make a pee!!! At 1am i also took 1 more spoon of the oil.

At 5am i sat on toliet could not make a poo no runny poos as said if anything i was and still am from this time on constipated!!! And its now 2.32 pm next day!

So at 5am, I started gettin bad pains in my pelvis agony!! as i rocked back and forth it was bad and shocks up thru me! My back started gettin painful too! and i kept having to pee so i drank too much water i would say! it felt as if baby was movin down more too! It really did feel like contractions i was having!! I could only just about bare pain!

SO I woke fully at 10.40am, and pains had gone!!! SO contractions just stopped dead!!! weird!! my belly was rock hard! She kicking away, i counted 10 kicks but no runny poos or anythin like that! Last 2 days she less active but does kick!

So any 1 know why pains so painful just stop!!!! and nothin!! I took benefibre in my cereal and another bowl of weetabix to see if my bowel will move as its constipated grr!!!

So im wondering will em pains come back later!! um! Or was it just the oil! Or was it just dilating me down there a bit to have em pains. And stop and dilate again another time who knows was weird now i must say!

So im sorta shocked nothin happened as way i thought was going then to stop! They say if your body not ready it wont work but i know a girl and she dilated 2 or 3cm and took it nothin happened either! I sopose your meant to take 4 spoons but i took at least 3 spoons anyway and that what happened me! its all old wives tales id say! and people tellin you this and that!

So no one really knows real research on de oil! - or may be never they mite think they do but dont ha!

I v a maternity app wed 23rd so i mite be induced we see if not i was thinkin of given oil 1 lst go thur! 4 spoons if nothin! that s that then! we finish on the subject and jus have wait grrrrrrrrrrrrr! Ill be bed ridden anyway!

Either way i love you little chelsey!! Your mummy just tired and wrecked and cant wait to see you! x x x
