13-6-2008 - 1ST DOCTORS VISIT!

My mood while writing this blog: HAPPY BUT I NEED TO PEE!

WENT TO THE DOC ON TUES AND EVERYTHING WAS GOOD AS YOU CAN TELL BY MY ULTRASOUND. IM ALREADY SO IN LOVE WITH THIS BABY! I HEARD THE HEARTBEAT! ITS NICE AND STRONG! BABY IS THE SIZE OF A RAISIN...AND THERES ONLY ONE THIS TIME WHICH IS A BLESSING BUT IT MAKES ME A BIT SADD. MY LAST PREGNANCY THERE WERE THESE 2 BEAUTIFUL BABIES GROWIN IN ME... AND I LOST THEM. SO IM IN A STATE OF AWE AS WELL AS SCARED OUT OF MY MIND.

SO THE DOC SAID A CERCLAGE IS NECESSARY AND I THINK I AGREE 100% I WANTED IT DONE LAST TIME AND THEY DIDNT DO IT...AND I LOST MY ANGELS SO WE AGREED THEY'RE NOT CHANGING THEIR MINDS THIS TIME! AND I TOLD MY DOC HES DOING IT NOT ONE OF THE OTHER DOCTORS! I WANT HIM!

I THINK HE UNDERSTANDS MY CONCERN AND WANTS TO KEEP ME HAPPY SINCE THEY SHOULD HAVE WATCHED ME CLOSER BEING IT WAS MY FIRST PREGNANCY AND IT WAS TWINS! BUT ANYWAYS

I HAVE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT ON JULY 8TH!
SO ILL HAVE ANOTHER UPDATE THEN!
THATS WHEN WE'LL PICK THE DATE FOR THE CERCLAGE!

IN OTHER NEWS MY DAD AND HIS WIFE JUST HAD THE BABY!
ITS A BOY! IM SO EXCITED FOR THEM! IM GOING TO GO C MY NEW LITTLE BROTHER 2MORROW... AND IM THINKING OF TELLING DADDY IM PREGNANT. IM WORRIED HE'LL BE DISAPPOINTED BUT HEY! DADDY LOVES ME SO IM SURE HE'LL STAND BY ME

WELL GOTTA GET BAK 2 WORK N I GOTTA PEE!

I've had a cerclage with my last 2 pregnancies, and it really put my mind at ease after losing my first pregnancy at 21 weeks. It worked great and was taken out around 36 weeks. My new dr. doesn't think I'll need one this time round, but wants to keep a close watch on my cervix with ultrasound to make sure it's not thinning out. The procedure is relatively painless, but can cause a little bit of cramps for a few days afterwards, so don't let that scare you if you experience some! Good luck with this pregnancy, I know how scary it is to lose a baby and then be scared to death during your next pregnancy. Sounds like you have a great Dr. Let him take care of you and I'm sure you'll be fine and holding that beautiful baby come Feb.!!

Ahhhh congratulations on your first visit! How exciting!!! :) I have mine next Thursday, June 19. I can't wait!!! I didn't think it was possible to see anything or hear the heart but you just confirmed that with 6 weeks, I will be able to. Did you hear the heart very loud?
