30-4-2009 - one month old.

My mood while writing this blog: amazed

Wow. My little man is a month old today. I can't believe that I've been a mom for a whole month!! I know you are probably thinking "its just a month" but it has flown by!! He has changed so much already and I love watching him grow. He takes a bath every night with Daddy and he LOVES it. He'll zonk out as soon as he is fed and put into his pack n play. He is also sleeping longer stretches at night. He'll sleep from 9 until 1:30 and from 3 until 8 or so. Some nights he'll wake up one extra time to get some more food but during the day he eats like every two/three hours.

He calms down in the bath :) He loves them.

I'm not sure if I have mentioned this but I had my miscarriage on March 30, 2008 and Carson was born on March 30, 2009; crazy huh? My angel baby wanted Carson to be born on the day he went to live with Jesus. I'm so thankfully that Carson is PERFECT and HEALTHY even though he was almost 5 weeks premature.

Today is my original due date as well. Carson wasn't due to arrive until April 30th but he decided to join us exactly a month early. Today is my brother in laws, Johnny, birthday. He was killed in Iraq in September 2007 and Carson would have been born on his birthday. He couldn't wait and he wanted to be here to celebrate his uncles birthday with us today.

I have my 4 week PP check up today. Hopefully I'll get "released" and get on my birth control. I'm getting an IUD because I can't trust myself enough to take my pills. My husband and I didn't even make it to 4 weeks without caving in and having sex!! So, I need my birth control ASAP!!

Well ladies I have to go get ready and feed my little guy!! I hope all of my due date buddies have either already had or are having their little ones SOON! Much love xoxo!
