01-6-2009 - two months old.

My mood while writing this blog: amazed

I know I'm two days late but this weekend was a busy one. I can't seem to grasp the fact that my babyboy has already been here two wonderful months. He has grown so much and it is going way too fast.

He was watching t.v. and it wasn't cartoons. lol

He is starting to sleep longer stretches through the night. Last night he slept from 9:30 to 4 and again from 4:30 to 7 and back asleep until 9:30. So needless to say I'm very well rested lately. Don't get me wrong there are some nights he wants to play instead of sleep.

If Carson is cranky a phone call from his grampy calms him down.

His attitude has started to show. It looks like I have TWO of my husbands in this house, oh lucky me! Carson is one of the most demanding babies ever and if he thinks you are too slow he'll just simply hold his breath until you pay attention. Can we say DRAMATICS? But in the middle of the screaming all I can do is laugh because he is the cutest thing alive. How I love my cry baby! :)

This smile makes my heart go [pitter patter] ♥

and no matter how stressful things get rather it be the demanding baby or the butthole husband that simple little smile melts my heart and makes it all much better. He has also started to laugh at you when you talk totally ridiculous. He must be like me in that part, very easily amused. lol.

anytime i try to kiss his belly he kisses my cheek.

He still has his night bath schedule and he loves it. I hope it is always this easy to get him to take a bath because I know boys love to be dirty. He has become a big boy now. He is still wearing NB diapers and clothes BUT at six weeks he was 8lbs 15.5 oz and now at nine weeks he is 11lbs even!! He is mommys little chunky monkey.

He goes tomorrow for his two month shots and I'm not looking forward to that. I'm going to give him some tylenol before we leave so maybe it won't be as bad but then again remember the dramatics LOL. I'm anxious to see how long he is now. He was 20 in when he was born and he has gotten so much longer. He is going to be just like his daddy tall and lanky.

I don't have very many pictures of him smiling or videos of him laughing because he is pretty smart. When he sees the cameras come out he stops and looks at me like "whatcha think your doing woman?". I'm sure in time I'll get more. :)

I hope all of you lovely ladies and babies are doing great. For the ones who haven't had their bundle of joys yet just a warning takes lots and lots of pictures because it flies by!!
