| 09-7-2009 - three months old. | My mood while writing this blog:overjoyed |
I can NOT believe my beautiful little boy is 101 days old today!! (three months one week and two days old). He is doing so much now its amazing. I can't even start to explain how in just a blink of an eye he changed and grew up. He can now hold his steady on his own, he loves to laugh and smile, he wakes up once in the middle of the night and that is our time to talk, and he is rolling from his stomach to back. We just brought his crib into our room and after he eats his last bottle I burp him, swaddle him, lay him in his crib and he talks to his mobile for atleast ten minutes then it gets quiet and you look over and he is passed out. He is growing up so much. Before I would have to hold him and rock him until he fell asleep. He is also awake throughout the day for longer periods. The only time he'll take a long nap is if someone is holding him (taking a nap with him) or if we are out in town doing stuff and he is in his carseat! Gah, he is so adorbale.

bath with daddy (he loves to splash, kick and fart in the bath now)
Since he has been on cereal [added into his bottles] since he was first born I figured it wouldn't be too early to ATTEMPT to spoon feed him some watered down cereal. HAHA. Oh man he is such a character. I'm not sure if its the texture he doesn't like but he makes the most God awful face then spits it right back out. It is so funny though because after spitting it out he acts like he is ready for the next spoonful. lol. I even tried adding like 1/8 tsp of Gerber apple juice to it and he seems to not like it. I'm going to keep trying atleast every day or every other day just so eventually he'll get the hang of it. After trying the spoon cereal he is so happy like he knows he is becoming a big boy.

his big ol' blue eyes melt my heart (do you think they'll stay that color?)
His drooling has also became excessive. It is kinda disgusting when I'm cuddling up with him and when I sit him up my shirt is soaked where he had been chewing on my shoulder. He has also started sucking on his hands constantly and loves to grab my hair which in the end is very slimy and gross. hahah. In the picture above you can see his beautiful baby blues but I'm just wondering since they are so blue and have been that color since day 1 do you think they'll stay that color? I really hope so because I have DARK brown eyes so I want him to have his daddy's eyes. His hair is strawberry blonde but if it hits just the right way in the light it looks red, OH NO! lol.

He is such a happy baby [: and mighty handsome!!
Ladies I'm so sorry I've been MIA lately. I went home to Texas for almost two weeks to "get away" for a while. It was nice to be in a new surrounding and have family wanting to help me with Carson. My husband wakes up at 4:30 and works until 6-9pm so when he gets home he isn't very much help because he is exhausted. Yesterday Blake kept Carson for two hours on his own for the FIRST TIME. I was so nervous but I just ran to wal-mart with a friend so I wasn't too far away and believe it or not Carson did AWESOME. They slept the whole time. HAHA. Well, ladies I'm off to watch Baby Ensteins with Carson.
