Write a new blog
I went in for the anatomy scan on Friday the 13th - at just past 19 weeks. It was a nerve wracking day as I was worried about not feeling the baby move much and last time we lost our baby before we could do the anatomy scan. Anyway, got to the office early and they were able to get me in right away. Our tech was very nice and she was very thorough and told us everything she was looking at. The baby is developing well and right on track. It took a while to go thru all the different body parts but was wonderful to see everything on the screen and know our baby girl is thus far developing as she should be.
DH was with me and was pretty patient as it took a while for her to get through all the different organs and body parts. It was a relief though to see our baby moving about and I couldn't feel anything. she said in the next few weeks I will start feeling the baby more cuz right now the baby is still very small.
She also checked to see if it was a boy or girl and indeed it was a girl! After the full scan the tech measured my cervix and it's still measuring at 4.4cm right now. Hopefully it stays that way!!
DH was pretty excited and immediately texted our close friends to tell them we are having a little girl!! I hope she will just melt his heart and be daddy's little girl. I've seen how my DH is with our friend's kids and although he may have been reluctant to have his own kids initially, I know he will be the most wonderful, caring and protective dad ever!!!!

CONGRATS!!!!! I am so happy for you guys. GIrls are fun to have and fun to dress in dresses. Yeah on your cervix I will pray it stays that way. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
