Hello to all sexy mamas and healthy babies!
I couldn't make it to 40 weeks, I gave birth to my boy Victor on Monday, April 27, 2009 already! It was so unexpected and full of surprises and lots of pains. He was born at 6:33 am, weight 6 lbs 12 oz and 19 3/4 inches long! He looks exactly, I mean exactly like his daddy.
My husband and I did it on Sunday evening and I got my water broke. I checked in at 7 pm and was dilating 2cm. I got pitocin and epidural at 10:30 pm. I can't stand the contraction pains and want to speed up the dilation. I give birth vaginally and I have to say it was hurting like crazy.
I'm at home now, my back is hurting a lot, so is my belly. I have some stitches down there and still having bladder infection! Everything is so new to us so my husband and I are still learning.
My mom prohibit me from taking a shower, shampooing my hair for a month! I'm itchy and dirty like crazy and my hair looks like a bird nest now. I don't understand some of my culture practices sometimes. She said washing your hair right after birth will cause you to lose a lot of hair later on. Shower also makes you sick. Yes, I'm feeling so sick from being unclean now.
I will post more updates and promise to read all of your ladies messages and updates. Congrats to those that had given birth, good luck to those that will.
