My mood while writing this blog: stunned

My story is pretty simple, to a point. I am less than two months away from my 40th birthday and recently found out I am pregnant. Most people would say that is normal but for me it is far from normal. I had my tubes tied when I was 23, had a tubal reversal in 1999 that did not work. Looked at my tubes in 2003 and found them to be completly blocked. Did IVF two times. Both times were a success with the second one being the only one that lasted till birth. A week ago found out I was pregnant. Not only did the doctor doubt it, he would have sworn it was a tubal. To everyone's surprise and shock sitting right there in my tummy where it should be was a gestational sac and yolk sac. I was at 5wks 4days then. Right on target. So, in my life there is no such thing as a once in a lifetime miracle, I now have the honor of having two of them. I am still cautious and until I see a moving active young 'un in there I will remain that way. So I guess you can say never say never. I am living proof.
