28-7-2009 - scan OkMy mood while writing this blog:
Ok

Had my frist scan yesterday. It went really good we got to see the baby stretching, kicking its legs, waveing its hands and turning its self over.
It was so strange to see it moveing around so much and not being able to feel anything at all. The baby is mesuring two days a head of what we thought so our new due date is 29 Jan. Our next scan is at 32 weeks to check the placenta, its a little low at the moment.
Had to have extra blood tests done yesterday. For some strange reason i am no longer immune to chicken poxs. My midwife thought it was a bit strange, two years ago when i had my last child all my tests came back ok. I had chicken poxs when i was little and my 3 oldest had poxs before i was pregnant with my youngest so we dont know whats happened.
Now along with swine flu I now have to worrie about chicken poxs when the kids go back to school and creche in september.
Scan photos are up on my photo page.

Isn't it just wonderful seeing the little bugger in there so active and us being so completely unaware of it's antics!

I haven't had the chicken pox, and have never been vaccinated and it hadn't entered my mind until now!

Happy Days Tracey!

Those are great scans! Glad you got to see the baby moving so much. I hope your kids don't pass you the pox before the baby is born.
