31-7-2008 - It's a Girl!!!!

I now know I am 2 for 2. The little one cooking inside of me is in fact a girl. We learned last week. My other half was a little disappointed. He wanted a boy. My daughter however is ecstatic. She wanted a little sister. It mattered to her not a wit that everyone predicted that I was having a boy. She apparently had the inside scoop. As for me, I had no preference. I just want everything to be a-okay with the little bundle.

Now that we know, I am sort of relieved. I have 3 sisters, my sister has 2 girls and 1 boy. When he was born, we all looked at him like he was an alien. Sometimes we still do. I was a little apprehensive about knowing what to do with a boy but I no longer have to worry. I know exactly what to do with a little girl. It will be interesting to see how the new baby's personality will mesh with the rest of the family. I already have a diva and hope that 2 aren't in the offing!!!
