09-3-2012 - Asthma HeartbrokenMy mood while writing this blog:
Heartbroken

My poor baby has asthma. She has to take an inhaler every 4 hours and I have to use this little mask thing over her face to give it to her. Im so sad. I took her to the doctor because she had a bad cough and they said she has bronchiolitis and asthma. Im so mad because I never smoked while pregnant, didnt allow it around me and I still dont allow it to this day AND I breastfed the first 4 1/2 months I THOUGHT THIS WASNT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN??? I added some new pics the one of her in the high chair is before she started taking the inhaler doesnt she look so pale and sick? The one of her sleeping is this morning she is doing alot better. Any words of encouragement would be greatly appreciated right now.

My husband has a child, well now teen with bad asthma, so we have had to learn a lot about it with all the hospital stays and Dr's visits and so on..Anyway don't blam yourself it is not your fault and its not because of anything you did wile pregnant.. It is something that is past down, even if it was not past down from you or your hubby, I could of been past down from an aunt or uncle or grand parents ..So dont take it out on your self.. It can be managed so the best thing to do is to read as much as you can about it...I hope baby Trin feels better soon

I heard that babies this little can't get diagnosed w/asthma hmmmm Tommy's been sick twice already, just finishing up another round of antibiotic and breathing treatments . I had childhood asthma, and now as an adult I'm not bothered my it at all, so hopefully this can be something she can grow out of.
