i went to my18wk midwife appt yesterday. everything is good. heart rate was 161 and last time it was 160. i have been saying i think it is a girl just by my symptoms the heart rate seems to be going along with it.lol she said about the vaginal pressure maybe from being constipated. what preg woman is not! she told me to take fiber supp and colace to help. there was a mess up in my quad screen. the lab calculated it as though i was an insilin dependent diabetic. which i am not. so they called and are having them re run it. i am sure it will all be fine i am not too worried. i choice to get it done as i know after working with mulitple diability children that there is a lot you have to prepare yourself for. emotionally and just in life. i have my next appt in 6wks i will be 24wks and they also scheduled my one after that for 4wks 28wks so i can also get my glucose checked. my u/s in in 2wks just to make sure the baby is good. my mil had a baby born with anecephaly. the midwife said it is not genetic but more just getting what you need or bad luck. but once again i want to be prepared in having a good idea that my baby will be healthy even thought it is not 100% . we are not finding out the sex but it does get hard the closer it gets. since this is my last time doing this i really do want to wait though. my dh is sick with a sinus infection and he can not take antibiotic as he get sinus surgery in 3wks and they do not want him on any until after his surgery. he is grumping and moaning. lol and i thought trinity was spared by the stomach bug that the rest of us had but unfortunately she woke last night throwing up and on top of that my lt eye was dry and i opened it to quick and it is like the first layer of my eye stuck to my eyelid and gives me pain and watery eye . thankfully it is better today. i hope you all had a nice long weekend and enjoy the rest. god is great!!!

Oh my goodness, I can't believe you are already 18 weeks!! I sware I was just reading your posts on TTC!! Time sure flys! It makes me realize how big my little one is getting. :( Shes almost 6 months already. We have had a lot going on.. We relocated from Oregon to Idaho... So time just seems non existant. :) Take care!

Hey there!! I am glad everything went good at your appt.!! Sounds like you are moving right along!!:) I am sorry your husband and little girl are not feeling well...men act like they are dying when they are sick --don't they?? I have a bad cold and sore throat now...gee can you imagine a guy being sick and pregnant too---I would not want to even imagine it...lol. Anyway, I hope everyone gets healthy again soon!! Hope you have a good week and I will talk to you later!!
