27-10-2009 - esme 4month

My mood while writing this blog: blessed

so esme was 4mos on the 14th of oct and she just had her check up. she is doing great! she wgt 15lbs 9oz and is 25 3/4in. so she is growing just great. she is still nursing. i am so happy i finally have a child who is nursing this long. i am not starting food till closer to 5mos and then it will be just rice cereal and then at 6mos we will move on to fruit and veggies. although i did give her a few bits of homemade applesauce and a bit of rice cereal. she did great with the applesauce but so so with the cereal. she is drooling like a fool! i do not expect her to get any teeth till 6-7mos like my other babies got theres. felicity lost 2baby teeth last week. so now i have 2 teething kids lol! esme is not rolling over. not even to her side. i try and help her but she just not interested. she tries to sit up and when she does she sits for just a few moments. i think she will be sitting up before she is rolling. she also loves to stand. she is in her stander for 20-30mins. she is just so interested at looking at everything and it is cute to see her grabbing at things. she is a happy baby as she is smiling and laughing. she loves her mommy and sqeals when she sees me. she is sleeping so so. she wakes anywhere from 2-3times from when i go to bed and get up. she is making her own schedule. she goes down at around 8pm, and sleeps till i go to bed then she wakes for a feeling and then sleeps again. and then the mid night feedings vary. somedays she wakes at 2 others not till 5. she is in my arms or bed the whole time. she is not a good sleeper away from her mommy. she is definately a baby who is still adjusting to being out of the womb. but i am soaking up every bit of it as she is my last and i know this will be the last time i get to snuggle my baby. unfortuanaly we are all sick. ryan(hubby) has bronchitis, ethan has pnuemonia, felicity is sick with fever and cough will be going to dr tomorrow if she still hase fever. i have a sore throat and my head is hurting and starting with a cough. esme i thankfully doing great. i think it is because she is a breastfed baby and is getting my antibodies. i am usually a really healthy person so i hope i pass it to her. trinity is great as well as she is always healthy. trick or treat is just a few days away. my older girls are hannah montana, ethan is tigger and esme is minnie mouse. school is going great for the girls. we had esme baptized at the beginging of the month. once again i apoligize for not having picures up. i do have some on facebook. well i think that is it. so so long it has just been awhile. oh ethan may need to get his tonsils out. they are really big and we think they are giving him some problems. i hope you all are doing well and are staying healthy.
