15-9-2008 - Thinking the worst MiserableMy mood while writing this blog:
Miserable

Well, I have been thinking an awful lot lately and i have been having deep and meaningful chats with my sister about my predicament. The thing is, I have been in the Army for 13 yrs and not that I haven't thought things through already but I suppose the whole realisation of "single full time working Army mum" is really chipping away at me. Im sure i can cope with it but im in by no means an ordinary 9 to 5 job. I know i can do it its just the negative vibes im getting from some of my family who seem quite dissapointed about the whole thing but not quite saying it. Idealy i would have loved to have been married with the white piquet fence but it isnt so and its so far from my character to be that way anyway... I have been on various operations abroad including Iraq, I have seen the world and I dont think this is beyond my capabilities at all and to be honest I am very much attached to Bubs and just need some morale support :-(... Maybe the Hormones are really beginning to show face!!

Tylers Mum - Tuesday, 16 Sep
Aw sounds like you're havin a shitty time :(
The way i see it, you have made a choice and it doesn't matter what your family think. As long as you are happy and confident and totally in love with your bump then who cares. You sound like a very strong determined woman, and im sure you can do anything you set your mind to.
Theres lots of single mums out there who raise their kids into wonderful perfectly balanced adults, and you can do the same.
Dont doubt yourself! As soon as you do thats when you'll feel shitty.
