I just had my prenatal check up this evening. I feel OK...I don't know, Im getting nervous though. My midwife has been measuring me since week 18 and I have been right on or 1 week ahead. My last appointment was when I was 30 weeks and I measured right on target at 30 cm.
Tonight I am 33 weeks and 4 days and measured 31 1/2 cm. That means my belly only grew 1 1/2 cm in over 3 weeks. That is not normal for me. She told me that everything is OK and everything looks great. I told her today that I thought I was leaking some watery discharge and she said that she doesn't think it would be amniotic fluid due to how I described it. I'm so nervous that it may be leaking or something and that is why I'm measuring smaller. Im nervous that she sees too many patients and may be writing me off like it's no big deal. She is a really compassionate person though, and we discussed emotions and other things.
Does anyone know what it means to start measuring that far behind? Could the baby be dropping or something?
I hate worrying.

I've heard from others that once the baby sort of settles in and the head starts to go in position, your belly can actually measure smaller. Maybe that's it?

Don't worry hun....sometimes throughout your pregnancy your stomach growth will slow down a bit. I measured small throughout the whole beggining and then grew A TON and measured too big..and then by the next appointment (4 weeks later)I hadn't grown AT ALL! But Tiernan was perfectly healthy. If the doctor is concerned at all they will send you in. They won't mess around with your health or your babies.. PROMISE!! :) You are getting so close! YAY!

Dont worry! My belly hasnt grown in a while but Im still measuring ahead. If your midwife isnt worried, you shouldnt be either. Baby is developing fine :)
