09-1-2009 - Another baby...

My mood while writing this blog:

Hi all,

I was just wondering when would be a good time to start trying for another baby?

Keira is 3.5 months old at the moment.

I dont want a big gap between Keira and the next one, but hubby wants to wait till she is two to start trying so the next one arrives when Keira is about 3 years old.

I think thats to much of a gap.

What do you all think?

Also if any of you have had a home birth how was it and would you recommend it to others?

I dont think 3 is a huge gap me and my sister are 3 years apart and the best of friends but when they are small they can be a nightmare to control, arrrag a terrible 3's and a newborn. However its also quite nice when there is a larger gap mine is some what larger than what i wanted 8 years, there is a plus tho she's going to my little helper.

I am going to be TTC in March, Katie will be 9 months old so they will have a 18mth gap which I think will be perfect, I personally think 12 mths is a little bit too close as some babies dont walk until after this etc.... Also I hope to have Katie in a big bed and half toilet trained. Its up to you and when you feel ready, I also wanted my babies close and have thought about having another since Katie was born.... I am in the same boat as you. I would like my kids to be close in age, that being said I don't know if I can deal with 100% of the work of two kids in diapers! Olivia is 3.5 months old too....I thought I was prego and took a test and was torn btwn relief/ sadness when I wasn't. I think I will try to wait til liv is 6-8 months old...then maybe try so they will be close but not toooooo close when the next is born
