29-4-2009 - Keira 6 months

My mood while writing this blog: Happy

Achievements for this month: Start crawling forward on all fours, eating lumpy food and hopefully getting her first tooth pop out...

Keira is moving around on the floor more, not crawling yet but she gets to where she want to by going backwards and turning round in circles.

We got two cat that we are looking after for my sister, thire names are Nibby and Tibby. (We didnt choose the names they already had the names...) Keira is loveing having them as they aren't scared of her like our cat Shadow is. He had slapped her hand a few times, but she still loves him, why i dont know... (Will add pics of our new family members soon ).

Keira has a cold which she got from me, but she has an eye infection too. Its not too bad at the mo. I'm just wiping it with warm water and keeping it clean. Keira keeps rubbing it and i cant get her to stop.

Keira woke up with a swollen eye on Sunday (19/04/09) i called the emergency doctor and they made her an appointment for that morning at the hospital. The doctor there said it was from fer rubbing and gave a cream to put it. That was hard at first but have found putting it in when she is sleeping is better as she doesnt fuss or rub her eyes.

Well Keira is almost 7 months old.

She still isn't crawling but is very close to doing so.

Still no teeth, but i'm not complaining. The longer they stay down the healthier her teeth will be.

As for eating lumpy food, we have achieved that. We are even starting to introduce meat on a daily basis now.

Keira weighs 18lbs as of the 22/04/09.

Just been out and got Keira a pool, yippee pool fun.

I just could not resist... She is going to kill me when she is 21.

My oh my my baby is growing up so fast.

I cant believe my lil baby girl has gone from this....

To this is only 7 months...

I cant wait for the months to come.....
