My mood while writing this blog: up & down |
28/07/08 - Hi all thought I would give an update. How is everyone? Good I hope. All I can say is that m/s sucks. I am totally fed up of feeling sick. I know I don't mean to complain, it's just been getting me down lately. I had a terrible day on Saturday and I cried a couple of times when Dh came near me, I said I just wanted a break from feeling sick - and he assured me it would be worth it in the end - which I know but it does get you down. Yesterday I had a little reprieve from it and we went to the shopping centre but after being there for 15 min's I felt like I was going to be sick, so we quickly had to but something to eat and that helped. I think that is my biggest fear - being sick in front of people and it makes me anxious. I luckily have this week off too, so I am hoping that with another week gone by it should maybe (fingers crossed) be starting to settle down, as I was reading in the week 8 or 9 section that this is when your hormone levels peak at their highest and then they start to level out again so i hope that is the case for everyone. I'm sorry If I am having a whinge but is good to be able to get it off your chest sometimes. Take care and tty all soon x x o o

Friday, 1 Aug I also fear getting sick and not being anywhere close to a restroom or trash can. I've read that ginger naturally helps with m/s...try it chips -

Monday, 28 Jul My biggest fear is getting sick and throwing up in front of everyone else as well and I've been kinda staying home alot and only going out when I have to. It will get better, so keep holding on!!! expectingnumb3 -
Monday, 28 Jul You are right, it will pass! Just look at it this way, you want those levels to be high to support your pregnancy until the placenta is fully developed and takes over. Many women have trouble keeping the levels high enough to support their pregnancy. Just hang in there hun, I think the doc told me arond 12/13 weeks those symptoms should calm down. shelly32 -
