17-11-2008 - update!

My mood while writing this blog: excited-got my blood taken for my hcg

Soooooo....i know that i have not written in a while... i guess i'm just busy letting the thought of being pregnant sink in! I went today to get my blood taken for my hcg ( i requested it ) since i never got it done, i only did a urine test to confirm. I will be able to get my total tomorrow. I guess that will keep me from going crazy waiting until we get to go for the 1st sonogram (12/4).. i will have some kind of #'s to go by at least. I am also going to call and get info on getting my flu shot ( i never had one) alot of places do them as walk-ins so i may go today! Things are going good so far i'm 6 wks and 3 days today. No M/S which is a wondeful thing! it seems like as long as i keep my belly full the baby is happy!! I have been reading tons of baby books and i have a pregnancy journal that i take notes in and it is one that goes day-by-day. It seems like i want a lot of soups, salads, and sandwiches... don't know if i can say that i am craving them yet, but i do seem to want to eat them alot. I just went yesterday and stocked up on fruits and juices, can never get enough of those.I'm still about the same in the weight dept. and i have been measuring my stomach and waist (their is a section for your weekly measurements in my journal.We got a theme for the baby's room: Baby Looney Tunes, i got a really good deal on a nursey set with a start of the stuff that i need. So i will update once i go 4 my sonogram or maybe b4.
