29-12-2008 - heard the babys heartbeat!

My mood while writing this blog: happy

well today i went for my 2nd appt, and i got to hear the baby heartbeat, it sounded like a train :) i thought that it was cute. when the dr. 1st put the machine on my stomach the baby kicked, it was pretty neat to hear that. then the baby proceeded to move all over the place (running from the dr) it took her about 3 mins. and still no heartbeat , so then she had to push on my stomach (ouch!) to move the baby to the lower left side of my stomach and she was able to get a good heartbeat. i have a feeling this will be a very active baby..lol! The heartbeat was very strong. All of my blood tests came back GOOD! so thats a plus... I go for my next appt 1/26/09, i get to decide if i want to take the test to test for down syndrome, and then i will set up my appt. to go and get my sonogram at the hospital (hopefully then we will find out if its a boy or girl!! ) so time is just moving along. I have been feeling great :) xmas was good..we didnt really spend much this year, but i have been looking for a ring w/ mine, my hubbys, and the babys birthstone and my hubby went out and had one specially made for me!! it is cute and of course i cried all over the place, i started crying b4 i even opened it up! haha! i started putting $$ in my xmas club account every payday, next xmas is gonna be soooo much fun :)
oh and i have decided to breastfeed..has anyone else?
and my new years resolution= SAVE $!!!!!
