09-3-2009 - appt/update

My mood while writing this blog: kinda relieved

well 2day i went to my drs appt. i told the dr that i was starting to have the same symptoms as i had had b4 my fibroids started giving me pain..so of course i wanted to try to nip it in the bud.. it feels like i am constipated (TMI) so she told me stool softners and i told her that i took some last night... but the last time that i took them b4 i found out that i had fibroids it took 3 days for them to work.. so i asked was their a laxative that i could take.. she said milk of magnesia or else metamucil.. so i bought both.. and also lots of fruits & veggies and to drink plenty of liquids. so i took the milk of magnesia, it def helped in under 7 hrs..so thats why my mood says kinda relieved. fruits today i ate grapes, 2 tangerines and a banana.. will load up w/ more all this week, plus salads and a meal 4 lunch. and i drink h20 all day at work anyways so the fluid part is no prob. so i hope that all of that will help. i got to hear the heartbeat again today, and about 4 kicks, the baby was all over the place. the dr said that i was measuring right on point. they will wait til i am further along to chk on the fibroids some more. my next appt is 4/6 and i also do the 1 hr glucola test that day too.. so i cant wait to see the results of that..i should do alright. my friend just took the test (both 1 and 3 hr) she has gestational diabetes. i go on 4/4 for my 3d/4d appt..i am so excited. we painted the babys room on sat. so now we just have to fill it w/ all her stuff ( the fun part) so things are coming together nicely. i am going to be signing up for the classes at the hospital. and i am taking a budget for baby class on 4/29 (not part of the hospital classes, but it was free) supposed to get over $100 of infant layette if you are military (which i am not) but my friends told me about it, and i figure that i would take my chances.. i may get lucky and still get the stuff..if not then it will def be good info at least. i am up to 13 lbs gained, i dont think that is bad. i have the line down that you get down the middle of ur stomach, and my belly button is starting to stick out..hehehe.. and i gotta new love..watermelon..yummmmm! cant wait til u can buy the whole ones for about $4, will prob eat it all in 1 day, 4 now i settle for what i can find in store (mainly cut up pieces or halves) the baby has been kicking alot lately.. or puching or whatever she is doing in there..sometimes it scares me cause im not expecting it.. my hubby felt her 4rm the outside of my stomach on feb 28th for the 1st time! yay! cant wait until i can actually see the body parts moving across my stomach. i did feel a huge lump moving across the left side of my stomach, was thinking it was her butt, i know def it was not a foot! haha.. well wish all the mommies 2 be lots of luck.. also to everyone TTC. i am more than halfway through..cant wait until the 1st time i hold my little one.
