So today is the first day of my diet. I am doing the six week total body makeover. I lost over 20 lbs in three months on this after my first child. It is time to do it again. I am hoping to lose 30 lbs by the time school starts- so by the beginning of September. I like to weigh daily- partly because I'm obsessive and partly because you can really see your true weight and the influence of outside factors. Goal weight: 135 Goal BMI- 22.5
Day 1- 4/27: 165.6 (30 lbs to go) BMI- 27.5
Day 2- 4/28: 163.6 -2lbs: -2 out of 30 lbs (28 lbs to go)(This is why I weigh everyday- weight fluctuates by a good couple pounds and I like this number a lot better!)
Day 3- 4/29: 163.6 -0 lbs: -2/30 (28 lbs to go)
Day 4- 4/30: 163.0 -.6lbs: -2.6/30 (27.4 lbs to go)
Day 5- 5/1: 164.0 +1 lb: I'm keeping my low weight as my true weight -2.6/30 lbs (27.4 lbs to go)
Day 6- 5/2: 163.8 -.2 lbs: still keeping my low -2.6/30 lbs (27.4 to go)
Day 7- 5/3: 163.0 -.8lbs: -2.6/30 (27.4 to go)
Week 1- lost 2.6 lbs Disgusted at sight of myself in a swimsuit but I must deal with it if I'm going to teach my boys to swim. Must start excercising somehow. Managed a week with no fast food or chocolate. Didn't eat my daily 9:00pm sweet snack. Had two pieces of cake at different celebrations. Not bad. BMI- 27.1 Total loss: 2.6
Day 8- 5/4: 163.6 +.6: Sticking with my low of 163 -2.6 lbs/30 (27.4 to go) I'm ready to see 162 on the scale!
Day 9- 5/5: 163.4 -.2: (163.0) -2.6/ 30 lbs (27.4 to go STILL) Sigh....
Day 10- 5/6: 163.4 -0: (163.0) -2.6/ 30 lbs (27.4 to go STILL) I'm eating egg whites for this? I'm on the verge of loosing weight I just know it!
Day 11- 5/7: 163.4 -0: (163.0) -2.6/ 30 lbs (27.4 to go STILLLL) I guess I should be glad to see it maintain and not go up at all. I was sure I'd see 162.something today. Disappointed.
Day 12- 5/8: 165.6 +2.2: (163.0) -2.6/30 lbs (27.4 to go) I know I didn't gain two pounds over night. I haven't drank enough water lately and I did eat a very satisfying chimichanga.
Day 13- 5/9: 163.6 -2.0: (163.0) -2.6/ 30 lbs (27.4 to go)
Day 14- 5/10: 162.4! 162.4! 162.4!!! -1.2: -3.2/30 lbs (26.8 to go)
Week 2 summary: Finally started to loose weight, but I've cheated a few times. Well it was Mother's Day. I'm going to get back on track tomorrow. Going to try to force hubby to exercise with me at the Y. BMI- 27.0 Total loss: .6
Day 15- 5/11: 163.0 +.6 sticking with the new low -3.2/30 lbs (26.8 to go)
Day 16- 5/12: 162.6 -.4 -3.2/30 lbs (26.8 to go)
Day 17- 5/13: 162.4 -.2 -3.2/30 lbs (26.8 to go) excersiced last night for the first time! Need to keep it going.
Day 18- 5/14: 162.4 -0 -3.2/30 lbs (26.8 to go)
Day 19- 5/15: 162.2 -.2 -3.4/30 lbs (26.6 to go)
Day 20- 5/16: 162.6 +.4 -3.4/30 lbs (26.6 to go) excersized again today while LO was home with daddy sleeping and the bigger LO was having swim lessons! Ate a whole personal pizza last night- it was Friday. Going to try to go to the Y more often after all the season finales!
Day 21: 5/17: 161.4 Awesome! -1.2 -4.2/ 30 lbs (25.8 to go) Started taking acai berry. Had freakish energy yesterday- hope it's the berries and not a fluke.
Week 3 Summary- Starting to see some weight come off. Really want to exercise regularly- hope to soon. Need to eat a little more carefully and be prepared so the right food is ready. Suppose to eat 1400 calories, is that enough?? Can't wait to be less than 160!! BMI- 26.8 Total loss 1.0
Day 22: 5/18: 161.0 -.4 Lost a pound rather quickly! -4.6/ 30 lbs (25.4 to go)

Day 24: 5/20: 162.2 +1.2 Sticking with new low of 161.0, -4.6/30 lbs (25.4 to go)
Day 25: 5/21: 162.4 +.2 (low 161.0) -4.6/30 lbs (25.4 to go)
Day 26: 5/22: 161.8 -.6 (low 161.0) -4.6/30 lbs (25.4 to go) Got AF after a 53 day cyle- hope that helps me loose weight!
Day 27: 5/23: 160.2 -.6 New low -5.2/30 lbs (24.8 to go) Hopeful for tomorrow to be under 160 if I eat right today. Exercised 5 times this week- I think.Hit the 5 lb mark finally!!
Day 28: 5/24: 160.2 -.0 (low 160.2) -5.2/30 lbs (24.8 to go) Pigged out at anniversary dinner- no hope of being under 160 tomorrow.
Week 4 summary- Fit smaller jeans! Need another notch in my belt. Haven't lost many pounds per se, but good changes are happening. Not doing the six wk body makeover- just watching calories and eating better food. Greatly reduced fast food. Got a new pair of smaller sized jeans!! BMI- 26.6 Total loss: .4

Day 32: 5/28 158.0!!!! -1.4 I can't believe it! Another new low! -6.6/ 30 lbs (23.4 to go!)
Day 33: 5/29 158.6 +.6 (from low 158.0) -6.6/ 30 lbs (23.4 to go!)
Day 34: 5/30 158.8 +.2 (from low 158.0) -6.6/ 30 lbs (23.4 to go)
Day 35: 5/31 158.6 -.2 (from low 158.0) -6.6/ 30 lbs (23.4 to go)
Week 5 Summary- Getting to work out more. Still have a few bad diet days- usually husband influenced. This week was pretty good. I'm officially at my pre preggo weight! Starting to fit some of those clothes. Still working on toning abs again. Overall, I'm happy with my progress. I really would like to get down to 125, but I don't know if I can really do that. We'll see. Total loss 2.2 BMI: 26.3
Day 36: 6/1 158.6 -0 (from low 158.0) -6.6/ 30 lbs (23.4 to go)Not getting to exercise as much as I want to.
