15-7-2008 - 15 July - Heartbeat!!

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Oh my god, this is so exciting. I had my first appointment with my obstetician (is that how you spell it?) this afternoon and I heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time. Far out. And I saw little arms and little legs. It was so cute. Apparently I have a heart murmer as well, but I don't care. I'm just so stoked. Anyway apparently heart murmers are fairly normal in pregnancy. Who would have thought it!

I'm now 9 weeks and 2 days - due date now seems to be 15 Feb. So excited. So freaken happy.

I'm getting as fat as a house - not good given that I am getting married in less than a month. I keep trying to eat healthily but chocolate muffins keep calling me.

I've been really quite sick with excema and morning sickness, but all of a sudden I feel heaps better. Who knows - maybe the morning sickness thing is passing.

I'm just dying to tell my fiance about the little arms and legs, but he's in Canberra tonight and go figure, I left my phone at the doctor's office. Oh well. I may have to go and find a public phone box.
